         Cowgirls Barrel Racing is the only event during the Battle of the Beast pro-bull riding event strictly for the LADIES.  We’re always looking for fresh, new competition and hope you will join us on Saturday nights.  Our large outdoor arena measures in at approximately 140 x 265, with excellent footing and lighting.

         Entry Fees are $60.00 per person. A $5.00 timer fee will be deducted from each entry fee. An additional $5.00 will be held back and then dispersed amongst the Top 15 at the Battle of the Beast Finals on September 1st. Added Money of $300.00 and entry fees make up total purse with four moneys paid out at each deal; 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%. All Entry Fees must be paid in cash only.

         Books are 6-6:15pm on the Monday prior to event date. Enter by calling (301)748-4809, one entry per phone call please.  A maximum of 15 entries will be taken with an alternate list of two. No slack ran.  Entered contestants will need to be checked in by 5:30pm, date of event.  Anyone not registered by that time will be considered a no-show and will be replaced by the first alternate.  A $60.00 fine will be enforced to all No-Shows. Coggins papers are required, along with cowboy hats, boots and long sleeve shirts.  Contestants on grounds must participate in grand entry or will forfeit their ride.          The top three (3) Finalist from the prior year’s Finals are invited back to our first Battle of the Beast event in June along with each of the top three (3) Battle of the Beast winners from each event throughout the season will be invited back to the next event. This will allow the top three winners to secure their entry for the next show. If any of the top three winners decline their invitation for the following event, we will pull the next secured position in the current standings.

Points will be calculated throughout the Series.  The top 15 in the year end point standings will compete at the Year End Finals on September 16. J-W will award the 2023 Champion Buckle along with other awards and payout for each of the top 15 Finalists.  

Point System

One Point for each secured position 

Two Points for entering the event

Three Bonus Points for winning the event

Example 1: If you place 1^st in an event and there are 10 Entry’s, you would receive 10 Points, plus 3 Bonus Points for winning the event, plus 2 Points for entering; for a total of 15 Points.

Example 2: If you place 5^th and there are 15 Entry’s then you would receive 10 Points plus 2 Points for entering the event; for a total of 12 Points.
